5/09/11 ~ Submitted Pre-application to America World Adoption & received an e-mail stating that we are eligible for their Ethiopia program!

5/21/11 ~ Attended America World Seminar

5/29/11 ~ Submitted Application to America World & Processing fee

6/02/11 ~ E-mail from AWAA Saying our application looks good and is being submitted for final review. Should get a call in the next couple days! Yay!

6/09/11 ~ ACCEPTED into AWAA's Ethiopia Program!!!

6/15-6/18 ~ First Fundraiser Garage Sale!

6/17/11 ~ Signed agreement and sent to AWAA with our first payment of the program fee! God is so good to provide for us to do this!

6/25/11 ~ Received welcome packet from the director of social services for our home study!

6/27/11 ~ Received all our paperwork for our homestudy! (15 attachments in my e-mail!)

6/27/11 ~ Received an e-mail from our family coordinator at AWAA welcoming into the program (with another 15 attachments for our dossier!)

7/7-7/9 ~ Second Garage Sale Fund Raiser. Raised $824!!!

7/16/11 ~ Car Wash Fundraiser at Chic-fil-A. Raised $380!!!

7/20/11 ~ Home study orientation

8/24/11 ~ First Home Study Visit with case worker
8/26/11 ~ Second Home Study Visit with case worker
9/07/11 ~ Last Home Study Visit with case worker!!!

10/18/11 ~ Home Study Finalized & Approved!!!

10/24/11 ~ Sent our I-600A form to USCIS

2/24/12 ~ DTE (Dossier in Ethiopia) - Our wait begins!
